HIV Prevention Tracker Upgrade

The process of upgrading the HIV Prevention tracker was successfully completed in November 2024. This upgrade was part of a larger effort to enhance system functionality, improve user experience, and ensure that the tracker meets the evolving needs of our users. A significant aspect of this upgrade involved changing the domain name from prep.mets.or.ug to prev.mets.or.ug, a modification aimed at aligning the system’s branding with its updated features and focus.

Additionally, the upgrade process required the careful migration of data from the old system to the new platform. This data migration was meticulously planned and executed to ensure the integrity and security of historical records and critical information, minimizing the risk of data loss or errors. The team took all necessary steps to ensure that the transition was as seamless as possible for users, who would benefit from enhanced functionality and a more user-friendly interface.
